Deanna and Yomi – Baby Bump in Miami – Miami Pregnancy Photographer sneak peek

Sneak peek from an amazing baby bump session with Deanna and Yomi.

We shot the whole session on the beach in Miami and it was tons of fun. The amazing outfit Deanna is wearing was … made by her! How epic is that?!?!?!

So did you see the “shoe” shot? Well… notice that side-by side there’s a shot with baby’s shoeprint next to daddy’s shoeprint? Well… you’re going to have to wait for the full post to see how amazing daddy’s and baby’s shoes look next to each other 🙂

It was such a pleasure to work with you guys. Anyone who sees the photos can tell that the camera loves both of you (can’t imagine how adorable the little one will be) but we got to see how nice and helpful and kind you were, and that’s a gift your little one will enjoy even more.

Villardia and Jermaine – South Florida Engagement Photographers – Sneak Peek

Sneak peek from a fun engagement session with Villardia and Jermaine.

We started off at the Morikami Museum and Gardens which is a great place to shoot, but it would be so nice if some of these places would have extended hours at least once or twice a week!

We finished the session on the beach, but of course you’ll have to wait for the full blog post in order to see shots from that 🙂

Now you see that last photo? Same photo twice, one next to the other, right? Think again! It’s actually a reversed stroboscopic three-dimensional photo. Yes, a 3D photo.

In order to see the 3d move about 4 feet back from the monitor and focus your eyesight at a point near your face (some people call that “crossing your eyes”, though it’s just what happens naturally when you focus up close) you will see the two images above shift until a third forms in the middle. That one will appear to be a completely realistic 3D image. Once you “got it” feel free to move in a bit closer to enjoy more of the details of the image.

Mari Ann and Harold – Miami Engagement Photographers – Sneak Peek

First time out after the system switch. Yup you read it here first. Gone is the Canon Gear, we’re Nikon shooters now. Doesn’t matter to the clients… both systems are amazing, we just switched because it made sense for us, the Nikon gear seems to fit better with my way of doing things 🙂

Had a great engagement session with Mari Ann and Harold in Miami. Before I say anything else I have to share one image:

Now I know I’m not supposed to toot my own horn or anything… but

… damn that photo is HOT!

Last shot of the night too… a Steve Jobs if you will… you know “… one last thing” – I even titled it on the spot in my head when I took it “Angels and Demons”

We finished the session in an INCREDIBLE apartment owned by a friend of the couple, which overlooks the city of Miami… here’s a shot from the window a few minutes before I started shooting them against the city lights.

Jennifer and Stephen – Miami Engagement Photographers

One of our largest engagement session posts ever. We had SO MUCH FUN with these guys and managed to get so much variety in the set that I just couldn’t bring myself not to share all of our favorites 🙂

We hope you guys enjoyed your vacation and that you’ll enjoy seeing these now. Engagement portrait photography is one of our favorite things to do, and when the clients are as fun to work with as you it’s doubly so!

Josie and George – Engagement in Miami

Had an AWESOME time photographing and spending time with a great couple down in Miami a couple of weeks ago. I thought I’d start the set with a silly “look at us play supermodel” because this couple was so much fun and had such great chemistry that I figured I’d start with something silly … obviously decided to complement the over the top expressions with some very in your face over the top processing 🙂

The engagement shoot started at Virginia Key Beach. I’d never been there before and it was quite the treat to see all the great photo opportunities hidden there. Where do we start… ok let’s see:

a change of outfit and a quick stop back in the “jungle” part of the beach…

and then off to the beach itself…

Back into the previous outfits and off to another location for some sunset photos….

and dancing with the moon

a quick change into eveningwear and the engagement photography session moved to Lincoln Road in South Beach.

We saw this cool elevator with a glass back and decided to take some playful shots with that…

after shooting from the front of the elevator we moved to the back where we shot quite a few “caught while otherwise distracted” shots 🙂 Here’s one we turned into a panoramic sequence

and here’s one that was super-steamy…

Now the thing was that due to the speed of the elevator and how dark it was I had to prefocus the camera and basically wait for them to appear out of nowhere and take the shots…. of course we had a few surprises… for instance this one time they were supposed to go by while wrapped around each other like pythons in love (if you found this page while searching for information about the reproductive habits of leg-less reptiles don’t blame me, blame google) but instead they showed up with a family:

and of course they played their own jokes on me as well… behold… SuperGeorge and WonderJosie!

Once we were done with the elevator we headed off onto Lincoln Road where we found a few nice spots to shoot in…

Thank you so much for being the awesome people you are… I am so glad Joe put us in touch (Joe you rock man!) I can’t wait to shoot your wedding in May… Josie, you’re going to be a spectacular bride and George… well you’re already on heck of a lucky guy so I guess you’ll be a lucky guy in a tux 🙂

Krystin and Jim – Live Engagement in Miami

How to even begin to contain my enthusiasm? A great guy, a gorgeous lady with a sense of humor and enough “in on the guy geekyness” to let her play with the boys, a fantastic photographer hired to help make this a smashing success and three stunning locations. And that’s not even considering that this was our very first “live” engagement!

Thank you Jim, for entrusting us with this most special of moments. I sincerely hope to have exceeded your (but more importantly Krystin’s) expectations 🙂

The opening shot above was taken from an undisclosed location in one of the most dangerous areas of Miami (yes really) which however has the benefit of showcasing Biscayne bay’s fantastic’s Skyline.
